I recently purchased Adobe Design Premium CS5.5 and I like a lot of the improvements from the previous versions. I swear that Photoshop is also a lot faster than previous versions and it loads in less than a second. I'm pretty happy with it overall, but I haven't tested out a lot of the new features yet. I still haven't been able to upload anything new, I am preparing for my second year at university as well as working on my websites. My scanner is still not hooked up yet. I'm in a ranting mood and I've had a few discussions about this, and there's a lot of controversy around the subject, so I feel like dropping my 2 cents into the pool. Obviously, if you want to learn to become a better artist, you need to practice. You need to draw, you need to study, you need to understand how things work. First of all let me say I do not condone tracing in the sense of copying a person's work and posting it as your own, or altering someone else's work and saying it's your own. I posted the collaboration images I mentioned in my last journal. Last year, me and my friend at the time started a private commission service elsewhere. It is now, one year later, that I have decided to make light of who we are. Originally the images were just going to be deleted, but I felt they received too much support and that would upset me. I realized that my scanner is currently out of service for the next while so I may not have any of my recent artwork up anytime soon, but we'll see how it goes.
