I recently purchased Adobe Design Premium CS5.5 and I like a lot of the improvements from the previous versions. I swear that Photoshop is also a lot faster than previous versions and it loads in less than a second. I'm pretty happy with it overall, but I haven't tested out a lot of the new features yet.
I still haven't been able to upload anything new, I am preparing for my second year at university as well as working on my websites. My scanner is still not hooked up yet. This year at university will also be exceptionally busy so I'm not sure how active I will end up being with uploading. I have a full course load plus I am also teaching weekly art workshops.
Hopefully I'll have this account fully revitalized soon enough.

Learning by Tracing
I'm in a ranting mood and I've had a few discussions about this, and there's a lot of controversy around the subject, so I feel like dropping my 2 cents into the pool.
Obviously, if you want to learn to become a better artist, you need to practice. You need to draw, you need to study, you need to understand how things work. Some people completely forget about the concept of tracing.
First of all let me say I do not condone tracing in the sense of copying a person's work and posting it as your own, or altering someone else's work and saying it's your own. What I'm speaking of is only from a practice standpoint. Keep it private.

Reboot Pt. 2
I posted the collaboration images I mentioned in my last journal. Last year, me and my friend at the time started a private commission service elsewhere. It is now, one year later, that I have decided to make light of who we are.
Originally the images were just going to be deleted, but I felt they received too much support and that would upset me.
I realized that my scanner is currently out of service for the next while so I may not have any of my recent artwork up anytime soon, but we'll see how it goes.
Reboot
Good evening.
I am planning a possible restart on my gallery. I have once again started to draw. A bit more vicious than before might I add but nonetheless it's pencil on paper and I plan on improving. What matters is not how much you've fallen, but how many times you've gotten back up.
I'm going to lay down some grounds to my new gallery once I get around to posting it.
I may be posting certain collab pieces that have up until now been private.
A particular someone might hate me for that. That's his problem. I'd like to give him the recognition he deserves rather than have him hide from it.
Other than those collab pieces I will be label
Cynicism
Hello.
I have not posted here in a very long time. I am not active in the least, but I figured there were still a few people I know who hover around here. Some of you know me personally, some of you know me a bit less, some of you do not know me at all.
Those who know me know me as a very cynical individual. That cynical attitude is deep-rooted and malignant. I challenge everything, I focus on being right or realistic, I condemn stupidity and insincerity and even when someone is being sincere I tend to think otherwise and condemn them anyway. I have a sneering disbelief in everything and although I want to see the good in people and try to
